Since he started practicing medicine, Dr True has been active in supporting multiple issues regarding women’s health and wellness. Moreover, he has endorsed the concept of improving women’s quality of life as a prime goal of his practice. He has multiple programs to help encourage women to be healthier and to help prevent potential medical conditions from occurring. These include screening and treatments for heart, bone, brain, and skin problems, plus screens for cancers of the breast, uterus, cervix and ovaries. Rapid treatment whenever necessary can be done, but preventive medicine is best.

As a specialist in anti-aging, Dr. True endorses and offers effective anti-aging and wellness programs to help prevent the degenerative diseases and processes that have been related to the aging process so women can maintain their “youth” longer. Prevention of these degenerative diseases, such as heart disease, cancer and osteoporosis with alternative options from medical research has been a lifelong goal of his.

There are many actions that women and men can do for better health. Encouragement and assistance in cigarette cessation is important. Achieving and maintaining the appropriate weight through successful weight-loss programs is essential. Dr. True has developed programs to assist women accomplish these goals, including creation of the Hormone Vitality Plus program, of which the The True Diet is an integral part. Utilizing anti-aging concepts, including bioidentical hormone therapy and supplements, one can improve heart health and the health of a one’s skin, eyes, brain, joints, bones and other tissues.

Many women strive to have better health through losing weight, but they just can’t seem to get off that weight-loss plateau. During office visits, he can perform many diagnostic procedures to assist him in evaluation of these problems, including vaginal sonograms and hysterosonograms for pelvic pain and abnormal bleeding.

He is an advocate of doing as much evaluation in the office as possible to decrease costly hospital expenses. A cystometrogram can help determine the cause of bladder leakage. A PST exam can help assist in the diagnosis of interstitial cystitis. Office hysteroscopy or ultrasound can help evaluate abnormal menstrual bleeding and pain. Plus there are many other gynecologic options that can help diagnose a problem.

Once the evaluation is performed, Dr. True can discuss the options available to treat these problems. He is an advocate for improving one’s health through multiple avenues, and taking care of these problems as quickly as possible. After these bothersome problems are treated, one can enjoy a better quality of life.
